What areas does Baccalieu Bus serve?
We provide reliable transportation throughout the Conception Bay North area and beyond. Whether you're headed to an appointment, an event, or just need a lift to town — we've got you covered. To confirm if we serve your area call 709-222-9467,
What does your route look like?
Route 1: We begin picking up riders in Carbonear between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m., then head towards town, picking up riders along Route 70 and Route 60 arriving approximately 10:00 a.m.
Route 2: We depart from town around 2:00 p.m., depending on our riders' needs.
How do I book a ride?
For the quickest and easiest experience, you can book online at baccalieubus.com/book-a-seat-now. Alternatively, you can book by calling 709-222-9467, or email greg@baccalieubus.com.
I know you pick me up at my door, but how will I know what time to expect you?
When you book, you'll be given a pickup time window. You can also track your ride in real-time by using our "Track My Ride" tool located in the menu of this website.
Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking ahead whenever possible to make sure we can fit you in. Same-day rides are available when space allows.
What are your days of operation?
We're on the road Monday to Friday.
Pricing & Payment
How much does a ride cost?
$57.50 tax included ($51.75 tax included for seniors 65+) If you are outside our serving area your fares can vary slightly. Contact us for a quick quote — we keep our rates fair and affordable.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, e-transfer, and debit/credit.
Services
Do you offer door-to-door service?
Yes! We'll pick you up right at your door and drop you off where you need to go.
Can I bring luggage or parcels?
Of course — Each passenger can bring one carry-on and one piece of luggage at no extra charge.
Your carry-on should be no bigger than 48.25 cm (19 in) high, 26.5 cm (10.5 in) deep, and 38 cm (15 in) wide. You can also bring one piece of luggage for free. The combined size (height + depth + width) shouldn't be more than 157.5 cm (62 in), and the weight limit is 22.7 kg (50 lbs).
If you have extra bags or oversized items, we'll do our best to fit them on board, but space is limited and additional charges may apply.
Is the bus wheelchair accessible?
No. Our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter offers comfortable, easy entry. If you have mobility needs, let us know when booking so we can assist.
Do you provide group or charter service?
Yes! We're available for group outings, special events, and custom trips.
Can you take me to medical appointments or the airport?
Absolutely. We frequently help passengers get to appointments, the airport, and other essential destinations.
Scheduling & Cancellations
How far in advance should I book?
As we have a limited number of seats, we recommend as soon as possible however a day or two ahead can work as well. We'll do our best to help whenever you need a ride.
What's your cancellation policy?
Plans change — we get it! Just let us know 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
What if my appointment runs late?
Give us a quick call, and we'll do our best to adjust your return trip.
